Senior ERP Business Analyst

Job Title: Sr. ERP Business Analyst

Location: Huntsville, AL

Clearance: ACTIVE Secret Clearance

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for serving as senior subject matter expert associated with content, processes and procedures associated with ERP.
  • Define the detailed requirements, analyze the business needs, and validate solutions with the client. 
  • Capture and detail requirements through product development and other functions to support the project team. 
  • Participate in transformation and sync sessions to improve compliance, audit readiness, and alignment of system requirements.
  • Monitor other business analysts in software development methods and processes and implementation of those methods. 
  • Evaluate development projects and assist in tailoring the development process to meet the project needs.
  • Improve data accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness by driving issue resolution, advancing standardization initiatives, supporting modernization objectives, and leading recurring sessions to strengthen data exchange and alignment of system requirements.

Areas of Knowledge:

  • Provisioning: Manage Product Structures and Material Listings
  • Cataloging and Item Introduction: Identify / Establish Product & Material Master Data
  • Execution Enablement: Management of Product and Material Lifecycle Events and Data
  • Item Retirement: Manage Phase Out Plans and Obsolescence Data

 

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience and a master’s degree, or 12+ years of experience and a bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to collect, compile, and analyze data from the Army ERP systems (LMP, GCSS-Army, and AESIP) to assist with projects within the Supply Chain Execution (SCE) business area.
  • Requires knowledge in the following SCE processes: sales order processing, returns and turn-ins, inventory processing, physical inventories, end of day reconciliations, logistical reassignment, serialization, and government furnished equipment and materiel.
  • Ability to collaborate with other business areas, organizations, and trading partners to identify gaps / issues within the ERPs for the end-to-end Order to Cash, Procure to Pay and Plan to Stock business processes and make recommendations and / or plan of actions.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
