CODEplus is currently seeking a Senior SAP Consultant specializing in Basis to manage and optimize SAP system installations, upgrades, and configurations to ensure optimal performance and stability. They are responsible for system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting complex technical issues across a variety of SAP landscapes. Additionally, they provide strategic guidance on system architecture, security configurations, and integration with third-party systems while mentoring junior team members and ensuring compliance with organizational and SAP best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, install, configure, and upgrade SAP systems (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, Solution Manager) and databases in on-premises or cloud environments.
• Proactively monitor system health, perform performance tuning, and resolve issues related to system performance, scalability, and stability.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, working closely with functional teams, database administrators, and infrastructure teams.
• Lead or participate in system migrations, upgrades, and conversions, including planning and execution of OS/DB migrations and SAP version upgrades.
• Develop and manage robust backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
• Implement and manage user roles, authorizations, encryption, and other security measures while ensuring compliance with organizational and SAP standards.
• Set up and manage interfaces between SAP systems and other third-party applications, middleware, or cloud services.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior consultants, ensuring knowledge transfer and team development.
• Collaborate with clients, business stakeholders, and project managers to align technical solutions with business requirements and objectives.
• Apply SAP Notes, kernel patches, and system updates to ensure compliance with the latest SAP recommendations.
• Provide technical support for production and non-production systems, participating in on-call rotations when required.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis, including diverse implementations and troubleshooting in complex landscapes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven track record in managing SAP migrations (e.g., OS/DB migrations, cloud migrations) and version upgrades.
• Deep knowledge of SAP Basis administration, including system installations, upgrades, migrations, and configurations.
• Experience with SAP role management, authorizations, and system security measures.
• Knowledge of industry standards and compliance frameworks like GDPR, SOX, or ISO.
• Ability to lead projects, including migrations and upgrades, while managing timelines and stakeholder expectations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Public Trust clearance required.
