CODEplus is currently seeking an SAP Basis Analyst responsible for managing and maintaining the SAP system landscape, including system installations, upgrades, patches, and performance tuning. They are expected to handle system administration tasks such as user management, transport management, and troubleshooting technical issues to ensure high availability and efficient operation of SAP environments. Additionally, they collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integration, implement security protocols, and optimize system configurations to meet business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining SAP applications, databases, and related system components.
  • Monitoring system performance and conducting tuning activities to ensure optimal performance and availability of SAP systems.
  • Performing SAP version upgrades, applying support packages, kernel updates, and managing system patches to keep the systems up-to-date and secure.
  • Managing user accounts, roles, and authorizations, ensuring compliance with security protocols and handling security audits.
  • Managing the SAP transport landscape, including configuring transport routes, scheduling transports, and resolving related issues.
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues within the SAP environment to minimize downtime and disruption.
  • Establishing and managing backup and disaster recovery plans for SAP systems to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
  • Coordinating with other IT teams to ensure smooth integration of SAP with other applications and systems.
  • Preparing technical documentation, maintaining operational procedures, and generating system performance reports.
  • Providing support to functional and business teams for technical issues and collaborating on projects requiring Basis expertise.

Skills and Experience:

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, including system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Experience in supporting SAP implementations, migrations, or upgrade projects a plus.
  • Skills in monitoring and optimizing system performance, including identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Competence in setting up and managing user roles, authorizations, and overall system security.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including developers, functional consultants, and business stakeholders.
  • Public Trust clearance required.
