Power Platform Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Power Platform Developer to design, develop, and implement data-driven business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will leverage tools like Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse to build scalable applications, automate workflows that support business decision-making and operational efficiency. This role requires strong client-facing experience, the ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions, and a proactive, agile mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build Canvas/Data Driven Apps, automated workflows, and Power BI dashboards that support business operations through real-time data insights.
• Develop and manage solutions leveraging Dataverse for structured and secure data storage.
• Work closely with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and deliver timely, high-quality solutions.
• Translate complex data and process challenges into user-friendly applications and dashboards.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in solution architecture, security, and governance.
• Be available to work on-site in Norfolk, VA as needed for client meetings, solution reviews, and deployment support.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and third-party APIs.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Proven expertise in developing Canvas Apps, working with Dataverse, and creating impactful Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Strong experience working directly with clients and stakeholders, with excellent communication and requirement-gathering skills.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, business intelligence, and automation workflows.
• Experience working within Agile development teams.
• Must be located in or willing to relocate to Norfolk, VA, to work on government site

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft certifications such as PL-400.
• Experience with Power Virtual Agents or AI Builder.
• Familiarity with Azure Logic Apps, Functions, or SQL integration.
• Knowledge of ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) in Power Platform using Azure DevOps.
