We are seeking a motivated Controls Engineer to support NASA’s Environmental Control and Life Support Systems (ECLSS) for the International Space Station (ISS), commercial space partnerships, and future exploration missions including Artemis and Mars campaigns. This role involves developing and integrating LabVIEW-based control systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to innovative solutions for mission-critical hardware and software. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and a passion for advancing human spaceflight.
The candidate will provide and perform the following tasks:
A bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution is preferred. Typically, educational requirements are the equivalent of a Master’s degree with at least 3 total years of experience including control engineering and LabVIEW development, or a BS with at least 5 years of similar experience.
